Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and debug SAP ABAP programs, including reports, forms, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and workflows.

Create custom ABAP objects using Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).

Work on ABAP enhancements in SAP modules like SD, MM, FI/CO, PP, and HCM as per business needs.

Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.

Develop and modify SAP scripts, SmartForms, and Adobe Forms.

Design and implement user exits, BADIs, and enhancements using the Enhancement Framework.

Work with IDOCs, BAPIs, RFCs, and ALV reporting.

Support integration between SAP and third-party systems using ABAP proxies, RFCs, and other middleware tools.

Analyze and resolve SAP system issues, ensuring minimal downtime.

Optimize existing ABAP programs for better performance and usability.

Prepare technical documentation for ABAP developments and provide training to end-users or junior developers as needed.

Required

Proficiency in SAP ABAP programming, including Core ABAP and Object-Oriented ABAP.

Knowledge of SAP enhancement frameworks, SAP Data Dictionary, and debugging.

Experience with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and SAP NetWeaver.

Familiarity with transport management and version control tools.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.

SAP certification in ABAP or related modules.

Required Security clearance.

Preferred

Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 and ABAP on HANA.

Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.

Knowledge of business processes in industries like manufacturing, retail, or logistics.

Federal Experience is a plus.
