Responsibilities
Overall relationship management of one or more strategic accounts
Building senior-level relationships with customers up to and including C-suite
Negotiating and implementing major multi-year strategic contracts
Communicating new Cooper innovations & technological solutions to address customer operational issues
Selling complex multi-year emissions and performance upgrade projects
Developing long-term account plans, including financial forecasts and technology plans
Travel :50% of the time throughout the US

Required
Minimum high-school diploma or GED with 10 years sales experience required
Minimum 7 years of experience in sales origination or other customer-facing role
Ability to develop strong interpersonal relationships with customers
Strong contractual negotiation experience
Strong reciprocating engine and compressor or other heavy industrial experience
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
Commitment to safety, customer service quality and to work in team-oriented environment
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college preferred
