Responsibilities

Participate in engineering activities, including design of chemical processes, unit operations, and related components, engineering reviews, work order preparation, and procurement
Develop, configure, and optimize industrial processes from inception through start up and operation
Work directly with the customer and internal technical teams to ensure progress on all stages of project lifecycle
Work directly with operators to optimize processes to meet all customer and internal requirements
Analyze and troubleshoot process problems to make continuous and permanent improvements
Be responsible for assuring materials are organized and ready for manufacturing, including carrying out purchasing activities
Create and maintain P&IDs of complex systems and processes
Work with our technologies in a live production environment to learn about how processes can be improved; a certain degree of mechanical and process aptitude is required for this position
Educate and provide recommendations regarding safety, permitting, and process improvement
Prioritize duties and responsibilities in order to fulfill objectives
Demonstrate the ability to work individually and within a multidisciplinary team, communicating and collaborating with technicians and engineers alike
Comply with all safety, 5S, and HazMat practices
Work well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlines
Demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors
Demonstrate passion and excitement for solving difficult yet exciting tasks
Arrive to work on time and maintain good attendance
Maintain good organization skills
Perform other related duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or related field is required
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required
Minimum requirement for all positions is a high school diploma or GED
Must have effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language
Must be a US Citizen or legal permanent resident for this position
Comply with all safety, 5S, and HazMat practices
Work well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlines
