Inside Sales Representative – Life Science Instrumentation

Responsibilities
Identify and research potential leads through various channels, including online research, inbound inquiries, marketing campaigns, and customer databases.
Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and ensure they are passed to the appropriate sales representatives.
Maintain a pipeline of prospects and update lead status in the CRM system.
Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding standard product offerings.
Provide product recommendations based on customer needs, highlighting key benefits and features.
Prepare and send accurate quotes, process orders, and ensure timely follow-up.
Coordinate with the operations and logistics teams to track delivery timelines and resolve customer issues.
Schedule and coordinate customer visits, demonstrations, and technical consultations for field sales representatives.
Gather and provide customer background information to ensure productive meetings.
Assist in creating sales presentations and proposals when necessary.
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers.
Conduct regular follow-ups to nurture leads and uncover new sales opportunities.
Act as the first point of contact for incoming inquiries and route them appropriately.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential business opportunities.
Provide feedback to the marketing/ product teams regarding customer needs and preferences.
Prepare regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and customer feedback.
Work closely with the marketing team to align lead-generation efforts w/ promotional activities.
Suggest process improvements to enhance sales efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Stay updated on company products, industry trends, and best practices in sales and customer service.
Qualification

Required
Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, or a related field preferred.
Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a similar role, preferably in the life sciences or laboratory instrumentation sector.
Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and MS Office Suite.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized, with excellent multitasking and time management abilities.
Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a customer-centric mindset.
