Responsibilities

This lawyer will head up our client law firm’s food labeling, marketing, and product R & D work side of the practice.

This can include, but is not limited to: label review, claims review, GRAS notifications (oversight—use consultants for the core work), new dietary ingredient petitions, dietary supplements, R & D work and new and emerging foods and dietary supplements (cell-cultured meat, alternative proteins, Cannabis, CBD).

While it is no problem if also you have FDA food-safety side experience, our client already has a deep bench in – FSMA, recalls, FDA inspections and warning letters, supply chain and foreign supplier, organics.

We are not looking for those with label-related litigation and pre-suit demand letters expertise but again, no problem if you have this experience.

We would consider candidates from in-house attorneys currently or previously in food companies and food industry trade organizations.
