Responsibilities

Monitor, manage, and maintain the organization’s cybersecurity infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and endpoint protection solutions.

Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security risks.

Implement and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures.

Investigate and respond to security incidents, including root cause analysis and mitigation.

Manage user access controls, authentication systems, and permissions to ensure data security.

Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security into system design and deployment.

Stay updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices in cybersecurity.

Prepare and maintain documentation for security protocols, incident response, and compliance audits.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Cyber Security Administrator, Security Analyst, or similar role.

Strong knowledge of network security protocols, tools, and technologies.

Hands-on experience with SIEM tools, firewalls, antivirus systems, and encryption techniques.

Experience with compliance frameworks such as GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST, or PCI DSS.

Proficiency in scripting and automation for security tasks (e.g., Python, PowerShell, or Bash).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent.

Experience with cloud security for platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and tools.

Experience with forensic tools and techniques for incident analysis.

Required Security clearance.

Preferred

Federal Experience is a plus.
