Responsibilities
Consult with clients to gather financial information and ensure documentation accuracy.
Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, businesses, and trusts.
Review financial records to identify eligible deductions, credits, and tax-saving opportunities.
Ensure compliance with current tax regulations and filing deadlines.
Assist clients with tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities and optimize refunds.
Address client questions and concerns regarding tax laws and their applications.
Communicate with tax authorities to resolve issues such as audits or discrepancies.
Maintain confidentiality and security of client financial information.
Stay updated on changes to tax laws, regulations, and industry practices.
Collaborate with other team members to support complex tax scenarios and provide comprehensive client solutions.

Required
Two or more years of experience in public accounting and/or tax planning and preparation
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail
Registration and/or licensure with applicable regional agencies
Advanced knowledge of relevant software, such as Intuit QuickBooks or Microsoft Excel
