Responsibilities

Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web, mobile, and desktop applications.

Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across different platforms.

Identify, document, and track defects using the appropriate bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, TestRail).

Work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality software.

Perform manual and automated testing, ensuring thorough coverage of all features and functionalities.

Review requirements and specifications to ensure they are testable and provide feedback for improvements.

Conduct end-to-end testing of new features and product releases, ensuring all use cases and edge cases are covered.

Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test case execution results and defect reports.

Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings as part of an Agile team.

Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide feedback on the product’s readiness for release.

Monitor and verify post-release functionality and performance, ensuring the software meets user expectations and quality standards.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience in Quality Assurance or software testing.

Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies (manual and automated).

Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Jira, QTest) and bug tracking tools (e.g., Bugzilla, Redmine).

Proficiency in testing web applications, mobile apps (iOS/Android), and desktop applications.

Basic understanding of SQL for database testing and data validation.

Required Security clearance.

Preferred

Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, TestComplete) is a plus.

Knowledge of version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Federal Experience is a plus.
