Responsibilities
Identify business needs, gather user requirements, and develop user stories.
Document system capabilities and specifications.
Develop workflow charts and process diagrams.
Design and document system processes.
Gather customer requirements and communicate/translate these with the technical team.
Recommend opportunities and strategies to streamline and improve processes.
Identify and assist in implementing quick fixes to specific problems or challenges.

Required
Must reside in the DC, MD, VA region
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance (Public Trust Clearance)
5+ years of experience as a Business Process Analyst.
5+ years of experience developing ConOps, RTM, Use Cases, and End User documentation.
5+ years of experience in process mapping to document, analyze, identify, and improve business processes.
Knowledge of applicable tools, methodologies, or best practices for business process improvement or engineering.
Experience comprehending, analyzing, and interpreting complex documents.
Experience with federal government financial principles, processes, and tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong adaptability and capability of working in fast-paced environments.
Highly organized with solid attention to detail.
Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, related field, or equivalent work experience.
Preferred
Business process certification from leading organizations, including ABPMP, Six Sigma, and ITIL v4.
Knowledge of the Federal Government's Budget processes.
Understanding people costs and people planning concepts for a Federal Agency.
Experience with implementing budget tools.
