Responsibilities
Assist with budget creation and monitoring for programs and initiatives; track expenses and ensure spending aligns with organizational priorities.
Contribute to the development of fundraising strategies for various BDF initiatives, research potential funding sources, and support the execution of fundraising campaigns.
Assist in identifying, researching, and reaching out to potential donors and sponsors to support BDF’s mission.
Track progress toward fundraising goals, providing insights and reports to the leadership team.
Assist with planning, coordination, and execution of programs and events; ensure activities align with organizational goals and track progress.
Schedule and facilitate team meetings, prepare agendas, take notes, and ensure follow-up on action items.
Support the planning and execution of fundraising events, community outreach efforts, and workshops, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Assist in managing the scholarship program, including maintaining timelines, communication with applicants, and the selection process.
Contribute to the development of new initiatives and provide feedback on existing programs to increase impact and efficiency.

Required
Must be an undergraduate student currently enrolled in a U.S.-based college or university (including outlying territories), maintaining good academic standing.
Completion of coursework or experience related to Media Marketing, Social Justice/Advocacy, or Nonprofit Management (depending on the sector you're applying to).
Excellent communication (both verbal and written), problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively within a remote, diverse team environment.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
A genuine interest in social justice, advocacy, and nonprofit work, with a desire to make a positive impact.
