Responsibilities
Educate Veterans on Their Entitlements: You’ll inform veterans about their burial and final expense benefits. These benefits include eligibility for burial in a national cemetery, provided they meet certain qualifications, as well as assistance with funeral and final expense costs
Guide Veterans Through the Burial Process: You will explain the steps necessary to qualify for burial in a national cemetery and help veterans understand how to register for national cemetery locations, ensuring that their final resting place is secured as part of their benefits
Provide Final Expense Guidance: You will explain the Funeral & Final Expense Benefits, which cover the costs associated with burial, funeral services, and other related expenses. Veterans can use this benefit to ease the financial burden on their families
Assist in Completing the Veteran Burial & Will Kit: You'll walk veterans through the process of completing their Burial & Will Kit, ensuring they have all necessary documentation in place for both legal and personal peace of mind. This kit includes essential forms for outlining funeral wishes, identifying next-of-kin, and preparing for the registration of their burial benefits
Offer Personalized Service: You’ll provide compassionate, one-on-one consultations to ensure that each veteran understands the benefits they are entitled to, while helping them with the application process and navigating the steps for qualifying for their final expense benefits

Licensing Requirement: You must be licensed or willing to obtain a Life & Health Insurance License to operate in this industry. We will guide you through every step to ensure you're prepared and successful
Preferred
Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in customer service or sales is a plus but not required
