Responsibilities

The RTE is primarily responsible for orchestrating and facilitating the Agile Release Train (ART). Ensure alignment, prioritization, and value delivery across different Agile teams. They are in charge of program increment (PI) planning, coordination, and execution.

Strong facilitation and communication abilities are required. The RTE facilitates important rituals like PI planning, inspect and adapt workshops, and Scrum of Scrums. They make certain that teams are aligned and focused on common goals.

The RTE frequently encounters difficult problems and constraints that might hinder work flow. They must detect and solve concerns as soon as possible, collaborating with teams to discover solutions and maintain progress.

RTEs are in charge of tracking and reporting on the ART s progress. This contains data for crew performance, program progress, and the train s overall health. Decisions must be based on data. Should have used ADO for PI Planning.

The RTE is accountable for building a culture of continuous improvement as an Agile champion. They support retrospectives and assist teams in identifying opportunities for improvement in both procedures and practices.
