Responsibilities
Build external relationships across Point72’s existing market data providers, including third party vendors and exchanges
Build internal relationships across investment teams managing market data requests
Manage internal operations workflow by liaising with Compliance, Legal, Finance, and Technology teams
Research and monitor relevant service changes, policy changes, product offerings, and strategic insights across the market data landscape
Administer appropriate data permissions for investment individuals and trading applications
Liase across investment teams and internal businesses when running data audit exercises
Build Point72’s data library with up-to-date information that could be useful for portfolio managers, researchers, and other internal business groups
Qualification
Required
1-3 years of experience in investment research (buy-side, sell-side or research/data provider) preferred. Financial industry experience not required
Bachelor's or Master's degree (with strong academic record)
Ability to be manage, prioritize, and execute tasks in a fast-faced, multitasking environment
Ability to uphold compliance framework and IP sensitivity framework
Strong oral and written communication skills
High level of attention to detail
Intellectual curiosity and love for proactive learning
Strong interpersonal skills
Commitment to the highest ethical standards
Preferred
Experience in working with data management (e.g. DACS, EMRS, etc.) is a plus
