Responsibilities
Ability to lead project team(s) and execute projects on time, within budget, and with a high degree of quality
Interface with clients as required to meet project goals and deadlines
Have technical capability to mentor team members in the execution of their duties
Work activities will include
Forensic investigation of equipment failures
Design and analyze equipment and systems in power plants and buildings
Design instrument test loops to evaluate component failure cause
Instrumentation, data acquisition and analysis of equipment and structures
Evaluate materials and composition of electrical components and systems for application suitability
Write technical reports without supervision
Can-do attitude, self-motivated and able to perform requirements with minimal guidance
Must be willing to work at and able to be badged at commercial nuclear facilities
Perform all other duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager
Qualification
Required
Minimum bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
8+ years' experience
Possess EIT certification. Licensed professional engineer preferred
Strong written and verbal communications skills, with efficient use of Microsoft products
Ability to pass background and drug screenings to obtain security clearances at a commercial nuclear plant
Ability to travel to customer or project sites, which may include weekends
