They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join their Finance team as an Accounting and Financial Reporting Intern, providing hands-on experience in various aspects of accounting and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of complex and routine journal entries during month end close, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards

Assist in the monthly reconciliation of accounts

Support the team in the preparation of both internal and external financial statements in a timely and accurate manner

Learn and assist in the development and implementation of internal controls under SOX requirements

Contribute to the upkeep of documentation related to accounting and financial reporting processes, ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, and supporting both internal and external audit requests

Collaborate with the team on special projects, taking on assigned accounting work as directed

Explore opportunities for leveraging technology, robotic process automation, and data visualization integration to enhance overall operational effectiveness
