Responsibilities
Build and Innovate: Design and maintain complex, stateful frontend applications that handle millions of entities efficiently
Design Collaborative Canvas: Create intuitive, high-performance tools for multimodal (image, video, audio, and more) data annotation and visualization on collaborative canvases
Multimodal Rendering: Develop performant 2D and 3D rendering products to support advanced data annotation workflows
UI/UX Excellence: Establish and enforce a consistent, delightful user experience across products
Elevate Standards: Drive improvements in engineering best practices, tooling, and processes to deliver maintainable and scalable codebases
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in Next.js, React, Redux, and Recoil (or similar state management libraries)
Experience with deployment platforms like Vercel and CMS platforms like Contentful
Familiarity with analytics platforms such as PostHog
Experience with WebSockets, LiveBlocks, or similar technologies for designing real-time, collaborative applications
Knowledge of multimodal rendering on web canvases (e.g., image/video/audio)
Proficiency in Figma and Spline, with a strong understanding of graphic design principles (typography, color, layout, illustration)
Ability to collaborate closely with marketing and design teams to deliver polished results
Thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with a proactive, problem-solving attitude
Comfortable working in person in our San Francisco office to collaborate effectively with the team
