Psychologist (Outpatient)
Adventist Health is a not-for-profit health care organization serving the Central Valley since 2011. The Psychologist will provide psychological services to patients receiving mental health services, diagnosing and treating emotional and mental disorders while assessing and providing appropriate psychotherapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities
Conducts psychological screening, assessment and/or evaluations on all patients referred for examination and/or mental health treatment. Prepares treatment plans for all patients requiring specialized therapy
Coordinates with consulting psychiatrist to ensure patients requiring evaluation for medication, or re-evaluation of current medications, are seen by the psychiatrist/physician in a timely manner. Ensures the psychiatrist is aware of any information pertinent to the patient's clinical condition
Interprets a patient's self report of behavior and/or appropriate psychological tests. Delivers supportive services, consultation and educational programs for the department
Communicates clinical findings in writing, as well as through Mental Health consultation with organizational staff. Provides documentation in accordance with policies and procedures
Participates in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings. Utilizes electronic medical record system (EMR) as applicable throughout the scope of duties and responsibilities
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. or Psy.D: Required
Clinical Psychologist licensure in state of practice: Required
Psychologist (PSYCH): Required
