Responsibilities
Implement, and maintain a scalable, high-performance data warehouse currently hosted on Microsoft Azure Data Warehouse
Develop and maintain data models, ensuring alignment with Zeta’s mission and organizational goals, and industry standards
Build and manage efficient pipelines to integrate data from various systems, including Zeta’s student information systems (SIS) Schoolrunner and SchoolMint, learning application platforms, and operational tools
Define and enforce data governance policies to maintain data integrity, consistency, and compliance with regulations like FERPA
Ensure Zeta’s Azure-based data infrastructure supports the growth of schools and is optimized for performance and cost efficiency
Regularly review and refine database performance to meet analytics and operational requirements
Implement robust data security measures and protocols within the Azure environment to protect sensitive student and organizational data
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including FERPA and other data privacy standards
Troubleshoot data-related issues and provide timely solutions to support Zeta’s operational and educational priorities
Serve as a technical lead for data migration, transformation, and reporting projects
Wear multiple hats as a part of a lean start-up team, supporting the work of others on the team and taking on new projects and tasks as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
At least 1-3 years of experience in coding with SQL
Experience working in Microsoft Azure
Experience managing a data warehouse
Passion for scalable systems
Customer service orientation
End-to-end systems management
High attention to detail
