Senior Project Manager- Forensic Engineer/Architect -Indianapolis, IN

They are seeking a Senior Project Manager - Forensic Engineer/Architect responsible for managing forensic investigations and assessments related to structural damage and deterioration, while also developing client relationships and overseeing project documentation.

Responsibilities

Conducting and/or managing investigations, assessments, and expert witness assignments in order to prepare accurate technical reports and repair documents, and occasionally provide expert testimony
Leading multi-discipline or large-loss investigations, assessments, and assignments that involve other staff and/or outside consultants
Managing multiple assignments concurrently
Delegating to, mentoring of, and directing other production staff for maximum productivity and profitability
Developing repair design solutions for damaged and deteriorated structures
Managing the billing process for assigned projects
Meeting with existing and prospective clients to coordinate new project opportunities
Developing and maintaining client relationships and generating new business
Preparing proposals, fee justifications, and contracts as needed in conjunction with the Team Leader and/or Group Leader
Providing internal review of documents (reports, drawings, proposals, etc.) for other group members to ensure accurate, understandable, and consistent production of high-quality documents
Other duties as assigned

Civil EngineeringStructural EngineeringForensic InvestigationAutoCADRevitProject ManagementMS OfficeClient Relationship ManagementCommunication Skills

Required

Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or Architecture from an accredited engineering or architecture school; Other degrees will be considered based on relevant experience
Registered Professional Engineer, NCARB Registered Architect, or similar industry licensure/certification
10+ years' experience
Proficient with MS Office applications
Valid driver's license and reliable means of personal transportation to and from office location

Preferred

AutoCAD and/or Revit experience is a plus
Prior design and/or investigation experience preferred
