OmniVision Technologies, Inc. is currently looking for a Staff Algorithm Engineer to support ISP algorithm development. The role involves researching new image and color processing techniques, designing and developing algorithms, and assisting the hardware design team with implementation and validation.

Responsibilities

Research new image and color processing or computer vision techniques and technologies for digital camera systems
Design and develop new algorithms for image and color processing or computer vision
Expand our ISP or CV solution to new levels of functionality, quality, and performance
Assist the hardware design team with algorithm implementation and validation
Image quality tuning and measure
Algorithm documentation

Qualification

Camera ISP algorithmsComputer vision algorithmsC/C++ programmingMATLAB programmingColorimetry knowledgeImage sensing technologyResearching skillsOrganizational skillsWriting skills

Required

MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 6+ yrs of experience
Familiar with camera ISP algorithm and pipeline or computer vision algorithms
A solid working understanding of colorimetry and image sensing technology
Strong C/C++ and MATLAB programming skills
Organizational skills, computer skills, writing and researching skills

Preferred

Hands on experience with mobile cameras a plus
