Responsibilities

Greets patients, introduces self, and checks patient identification
Reviews patient's script to insure that the appropriate exam is being performed
Explains procedure and ensures the safety and comfort of patient
Produces images and analysis images for interpretation to the Radiologist
Assists Radiologist with invasive procedures
Requires knowledge of MQSA requirements and adheres to them
Performs QA tests daily on equipment
Maintains familiarity of computer system to complete orders and cancel exams as necessary
Recalls patient's prior exam history as pertinent to exam
Exposure with other modalities
Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position
Performs other duties as assigned
