Responsibilities
Experience in setting roadway horizontal and vertical geometry, preparing cross-sections, earthwork calculations, preparing quantities, setting right-of-way, understanding of roadway drainage design, developing maintenance of traffic/traffic control plans, and familiarity with South Carolina DOT Plan Preparation/Roadway Design Manual is desired
Assist other teams as project and client demands dictate
Be a part of a progressive engineering team in South Carolina and assist teams in other locations within the company footprint as project and client demands dictate
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
Must have passed the Fundamental of Engineering (FE) exam
2 years of transportation design experience
Proficiency with Microstation and Geopack/OpenRoads
Strong verbal communication and analytical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
Valid driver's license
Preferred
Familiarity with SCDOT standards
