Burgess & Niple is an established A/E firm serving Idaho and the Pacific Northwest, seeking an experienced Bridge Section Director to lead bridge design projects and mentor emerging engineers. In this role, you will manage the Boise Bridge Design Section, ensuring project delivery aligns with client expectations while fostering team development.

Responsibilities

Manage and supervise the Boise Bridge Design Section including staff utilization, profitability, growth and marketing, talent management, coaching and mentoring

Plan, manage, execute and deliver complex transportation related structural engineering design projects on-time, on budget, and to the performance expectations of the client

Create and monitor scopes of work and budgets for various bridge and highway structure projects for ITD, LHTAC, ACHD and/or local agencies

Work with office manager to support the growth of the Boise office and other Pacific Northwest offices

Monitor all financial aspects of the project including invoicing, budget status, accounts receivable, and monthly reports

Develop and implement business development growth plan for the bridge design section including client relations and proposal development
