Senior Flight Controls Engineer

As a Senior Flight Controls Engineer, you will provide innovative technical solutions for advanced aircraft and support Navy aircraft platforms with oversight and integration testing of flight control systems.

Responsibilities
Provide innovative, technical solutions to solve complex problems on advance aircraft
Provide technical and programmatic support and oversight on Navy aircraft platforms including F-35, E-2, and F-18
Perform control law design and analysis
Analyze redundancy management of safety critical control systems
Support Built-In-Test (BIT) design
Perform Flight Control System integration testing (including simulation, hardware-in-the-loop, and on-aircraft)
Analyze flight control systems including flight control computers, software, hydraulic and electromechanical actuators, and mechanical flight control linkages
Support the flight control system software support activity
Qualification
Required
The ability to obtain a Secret clearance (Requires US Citizenship)
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or other technical discipline
5-10 years of relevant experience in at least one of the following: Flight Control Law design and analysis, Flight Control system simulation and hardware in the loop, Flight Control system testing (ground, flight, and lab environment), Flight Control Software development, integration, analysis, and test
