Responsibilities
Place components of meat, cheese, crackers, and treats in individual trays
Perform period cleaning duties as instructed by the period cleaning schedule
Cleaning of equipment according to all Kraft sanitation guidelines
Provide assistance on changeovers of equipment
Perform various housekeeping duties including sweeping, emptying trashcans, paper wagons and trash wagons to keep work area in a clean and orderly fashion
Adhere to all Company and Garland Plant GMPs along with rules and regulations
Development, implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System and the assurance that all products processed, packaged, stored, and distributed are produced in compliance with all Regulatory, Customer and Kraft Heinz requirements
Responsible to operate under the Kraft Heinz Safety Values & adhere to all safety and environmental policies, procedures and compliance programs
Work toward achieving an injury free environment
Responsible for reviewing work areas for potential losses and loss control opportunities and for reporting hazards, Injuries/illnesses, and other losses to supervisors
Qualification
Required
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
Basic math skills
Ability to understand instructions written, oral, or diagram form
Ability to handle problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
Employee is regularly required to stand and talk or hear
Employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms
Employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
The work environment is cold 38 to 42 degrees
Employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts
Employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles
Employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; and vibration
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud
