Responsibilities

Advancing business development strategies
Development and pursuit of new clients and new projects
Client and project management for key projects
Technical input on projects
Staff development
Collaborate with other Business Class and Marketing staff in the pursuit of new projects, taking a leadership role in key pursuits
Serve as client manager for key clients providing leadership in addressing client issues and coordination of multiple projects
Serve as PM for key/strategic projects, provide technical input for business class, and assist in developing capabilities of Business Class staff
Oversee development and direction of key staff

MS in Civil EngineeringProject Management ProfessionalProfessional Engineer (PE) licenseWastewater treatment processes10+ years wastewater experienceAlternative project deliveryMS Office proficiencyMS Project experienceBusiness development skillsStrategic planning skillsInterpersonal skillsTeam player

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering
10 years related experience
A minimum 5 years project management experience
Professional Engineer (PE) license
MS Office and MS Project experience (Access experience would be plus)
Demonstrated leadership, business development and strategic planning skills
An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred

MS in Civil or Environmental Engineering
Experience in alternative project delivery methods
Project Management Professional certification
10+ years in the design of complex municipal wastewater systems
Strong technical background of wastewater treatment unit processes
Proven project leadership, management, min. 5 years (staffing, schedule, budget and mentoring skills)
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
Strong business development and strategic planning skills
Excellent team player with ability to function effectively in a variety of roles on integrated project teams
