Java Developer
IntePros is assisting a client in Salt Lake City seeking a Java Developer with FHIR experience for a 2-year contract. The role involves working with the development and business teams to design, develop, and implement FHIR-based API solutions to meet CMS requirements.

Responsibilities
Extensive familiarity with the FHIR specification & the FHIR infrastructure. HL7 FHIR Competence: Exhibit an in-depth understanding of HL7 FHIR standards and their application to the exchange of healthcare data
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define specifications for data exchange
Create conceptual and detailed architecture for APIs using FHIR resources
Design, develop, and implement HL7 FHIR interfaces and solutions
Test and troubleshoot HL7 FHIR implementations to ensure reliability and compatibility
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate the web application with FHIR API endpoints and other data sources in a seamless manner
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing HL7 FHIR interfaces
Stay current on industry standards and best practices for healthcare data exchange
Document designs, implementations, and configurations for future reference
Qualification
Required
Candidates MUST be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and in programming languages such as Java, Spring boot, JavaScript
Strong understanding of HL7 FHIR 4.0.1 standard and FHIR implementation guides
Experience performing data mapping of Source data sets to FHIR resources
At least 6 months of experience in HL7 FHIR implementation
Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API development
Hand on experience using OAuth
Deep understanding of AWS cloud services and AWS DevOps
Experience securing API's
