Tax Analyst

Medpace is a full-service clinical contract research organization (CRO) that provides clinical development services to the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and medical device industries. The Tax Analyst will assist in the preparation of tax returns and compliance, support audits, and contribute to tax planning initiatives while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

Assist in preparation of US, State & Foreign Accounting for Income Taxes (ASC 740). This includes assisting in the preparation of numerous book vs. tax differences
Gather supporting documents to prepare the Medpace Federal, State & Local income tax returns
Assist in gathering supporting documents for Federal, State & International audits by tax authorities
Assist Tax Manager/Director on various tax planning initiatives
Research changes in tax legislation and its potential impact to Medpace
Assist in compliance with SOX controls for the tax department
May be responsible for other projects and responsibilities as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in accounting and 2+ years tax experience
Must be able to collaborate in a team environment
Demonstrate ability to present relevant information and facilitate a meeting
Excellent analytical skills with high levels of accuracy
Excellent theoretical and practical grasp of tax and other regulatory principles and how they apply to the business
Excellent organization and time management skills
