Responsibilities

You will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to design system-level solutions, including the integration of SoCs, schematic and layout evaluations, manufacturing support, production testing, system validation, and troubleshooting. A critical aspect of the role will be ensuring that all designs are suitable for small form factor applications

Design, develop, and integrate electrical systems and subsystems, including analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware and software engineers, to ensure the successful integration of electrical systems into products

Perform schematic design, PCB layout review, and ensure the electrical systems meet required performance, power, and size constraints

Conduct system validation, troubleshooting, and performance testing to ensure the functionality of electrical systems

Work with vendors and suppliers to select components, ensuring compatibility with design specifications

Required

BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on system-level design and integration

In-depth knowledge of mixed-signal components such as PMICs, amplifiers, codecs, sensors, op-amps, ADCs, DACs, memory, charging circuits, and experience with integrating SoCs into designs and adding peripherals

Strong understanding of analog and mixed-signal design principles, including noise, linearity, and signal integrity

Knowledge of communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, I2S, PCI-e etc

Familiarity with integrating designs into small form factor products, ensuring functionality within space and power constraints

Familiarity with low-power electronics, sensor interface circuits, and SoC integration

Experience with prototyping, debugging, and characterizing mixed-signal hardware
