BetterHelp is an online counseling platform that connects its members to licensed therapists. As the Software QA Engineering Intern, you will join a diverse team to define and perform tests necessary to ensure product quality, contributing to the formation of a new Software Quality Assurance team.

Responsibilities

Determine the best test strategy for assigned areas of test, whether it be manual or automated testing

Write clear and concise test plans, test cases and bug reports

Write scalable, reliable automated tests

Collaborate closely with members of development and product management

Research test tools, methodologies, and trends in order to upgrade our existing practices and processes

Required

Must be able to legally work in the US

Prior experience as a QA Engineer or SDET

Experience with one or more automation tool such as Cypress or Playwright

Previous experience working in an agile development environment

Ability to work with minimal direction

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Passionate about quality and continuous improvement

Comfortable with SQL and relational databases

Get-things-done attitude with eagerness to build something great

Preferred

Prior experience with any of the following is a bonus: performance, stress or load testing; mobile testing; accessibility testing
