Ardurra is seeking a Transportation/Roadway Engineer in their West Palm Beach, FL office. The successful candidate will work on a variety of transportation-related design projects, developing contract plans, specifications, and estimates for construction while mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities

Research, collect, and review data for transportation-related projects
Complete technical assignments that include planning, modeling, calculations, design, detailed cost estimates, specifications, and permitting
Utilize specialized computer software to assist with the analysis, design, and plan production for new transportation systems or parts of systems, such as highways, streets, bridges, drainage structures, and roadway lighting
Aid in the preparation of detailed reports and documentation of the design approach
Assist with plan alterations and modifications of existing streets, highways, or freeways to improve traffic flow

Required

A Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
Approximately 3-8 years of progressive engineering experience in transportation design
Proficient in Microstation and OpenRoads Designer
Proficient in MS Office Suite programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
