Structural Bridge Engineer I (Moving I-4 Forward)
RS&H is one of the nation’s leading architecture, engineering, and consulting firms, and they are seeking a Structural Bridge Engineer I to join their Moving I-4 Forward Program Office. The role involves preparing project specifications, analyzing data, performing design analyses, and providing technical guidance to junior staff while ensuring quality control on construction projects.

Responsibilities
Preparing project specifications
Preparing complete project documents, analysis, and reports
Analyzing and interpreting data
Performing analyses of design, planning, and impact studies, as well as cost analyses, design requirements, site selection, and limited design layouts
Designing complete projects, systems, components, and/or processes
Performing quality control reviews and field reviews and observations of ongoing construction projects
Providing technical guidance and assigning tasks to junior and support staff for project duration
Managing discipline and small multidisciplinary teams
Qualification
Required
Have a degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Have your PE and be in good standing
Minimum five years of relevant experience
Be knowledgeable of applicable federal, state and local codes, criteria, regulations, and ordinances
Be proficient in production software and construction document production
Have a passion for formulating and solving problems with timely and innovative solutions
Possess strong oral and written communication skills and have the ability to effectively interact with and build strong relationships with clients, customers, contractors, team members, and other key stakeholders
