Responsibilities
Develop and present estimates to leadership with supporting documentation
Analyze proposals, drawings, and specifications to determine labor, material, and time requirements
Perform and validate quantity takeoffs and cost estimates
Solicit and review quotes from vendors and subcontractors
Assess labor rates, market conditions, and regional cost factors
Identify value engineering opportunities to optimize project costs
Conduct site visits to understand construction methods and conditions
Support proposal development and contribute to business growth initiatives
Qualification
Required
2 -7 + years of estimating experience
Familiarity with contract pricing models (Fixed Price, Time & Materials, Unit Pricing)
Proficiency in project management and scheduling software (e.g., MS Project)
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated and solution-oriented with a proactive approach

Construction industry experience preferred
