Responsibilities

Program, set up, and operate HURCO TM6i 2-axis CNC turning center
Program, set up, and operate HURCO VM5i 3-axis CNC machining center
Inspect your own work using various inspection equipment to measure tight tolerances including:
Height Stands
Micrometers
Calipers
Indicators
Grind and fabricate specialty tooling as required
Sharpen tools as required
Help troubleshoot machines as required
Teach fundamentals in machine operation, set-up, and programming (as requested)
Measure and maintain quality and safety standards around the CNC machining area
Keep records, maintain equipment and supplies required to support CNC machines
Keep and maintain records of parts machined on CNC machines

Required

High School diploma or equivalent
2-year machine tool diploma or degree or equivalent experience
2 years experience programming for CNC turning and/or machining centers
1 year experience with HURCO CNC machines
