Responsibilities

Assess Current State Architecture, Process Workflow, and solution inventory and identify key pain points
Support definition of Future State Architecture and Process Workflow with GAP analysis
Support Project planning and implementation with high quality deliverables
Quickly immerse yourself in broadcast projects, understanding client infrastructure and procedures
Provide technical support and guidance to internal and external business partners
Identify continuous improvement and processes of the broadcast transformation practice

Required

5 to 7 years of experience in television
Understanding of production workflows
Dedicated to enhancing production methodologies
Tech-savvy with understanding of different systems used in a broadcast organization and their interoperability
Proactive approach to integrating new technologies
2-5 years experience in leading end-to-end delivery of cloud-based workflows, Broadcast IP transformation, and broadcast engineering
Knowledge of SMPTE 2110 standards and NDI protocols
Working knowledge of solutions from leading broadcast technology vendors, including: WideOrbit, Avid (including Wolftech), Dalet, Grass Valley (including SAM), EVS, Adobe, VIZRT, Xytech, Ross Video, Amagi, Skyline, Evertz, Telestream, Chryron, LAWO
Deep understanding of video file formats, audio file formats, multicasting, and final delivery mechanisms
Strong cross-functional collaboration mindset
Meaningful contribution to business strategy
Highly accountable for project success
Managerial courage to have difficult conversations with colleagues
Demonstrated technological depth and breadth in technology domains relevant to the media & entertainment industry
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies

Preferred

Experience at a broadcast organization or System Integrator
Understanding Broadcasters, TV Networks, and video service providers ecosystems
Exposure to major Broadcast Associations (IABM, NAB, SMPTE, SVG, SBE)
Exposure to SMPTE-2110 standard and NDI
