Responsibilities
Working with insurance companies directly to process data entry of claims, medical records, and vendor bills
Process insurance claims and refund/claim checks
Perform daily administrative functions such as answering the phone, photocopying, filing, and scanning
Qualification
Required
2-3 years working on no-fault claims in the state of New York
Understanding and experience of Regulation 68 with an emphasis on regulatory time frames
Understanding of New York, No-Fault Arbitration, and the No-Fault Claims process
Proficient in inputting and identifying information that pertains to new claims in a timely and accurate manner
Ability to understand medical reports and medical terminology
Ability to understand legal concepts and legal terminology
Understanding of worker compensation fee schedule
Exceptional organizational skills
Demonstrate ability to work under tight deadlines
Demonstrate ability to adapt to new and changing business needs
Preferred
Adjuster License a PLUS
