Responsibilities

Coordinate the efforts in preparing contract drainage drawings, specifications, and estimates, while also overseeing the creation of project-specific drainage/hydraulic reports and technical documentation
Conduct cross drainage hydraulic analysis and design
Conduct drainage analysis and design per the requirements of the project and transportation public agencies such as TxDOT
Preparation and review of FEMA CLOMR and LOMRs
Preparation of storm sewer, cross drainage, and floodplain models using Open Roads Designer (ORD), ORD Drainage and Utilities (ORD DU), HY-8, HEC-RAS, and HEC-HMS
Other duties as assigned

Qualification

H&H modelingHEC-HMSHEC-RASORD Drainage UtilitiesRegistered PE in TexasFloodplain mappingVerbal skillsBachelor's degree in Civil EngineeringCFM certificationWritten skills

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
Registered PE in Texas
5+ years of experience working on drainage-related projects
Experience using HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS (steady, unsteady flow, and two-dimensional), ORD DU, and/or other drainage analysis software
Excellent written and verbal skills

Preferred

CFM certification
Floodplain mapping experience is a plus
