Responsibilities
Provides customer support, service, and technical support through analysis and problem solving
Conduct Tier-2 analysis of customer issues, generate trouble tickets, and work to ensure timely resolution
Document network events and proactively seek solutions to outages, etc
Build and maintain NOSC situational awareness through change-over briefings and pass-down logs
Will work days/nights/weekends 24/7 shift in support of network operations monitoring
Using SolarWinds and other custom solutions for network troubleshooting and support
Recognize and prioritize network incidents, use analytical skills to remediate or escalate to higher tier as needed
Notification to customer and third-party vendors of network related issues and outages
Document all tools, tactics and procedures
Supporting and troubleshooting Cisco routing and switching equipment as well as other components of LAN and WAN networks
Qualification
Required
U.S Citizenship and Active TS/SCI clearance
3+ years of experience in a broad range of technical task assignments
IAT Level II Security Certification (Security + CE or GSEC or SSCP or CCNA-Security)
Cisco experience
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Help Desk ticketing experience
SolarWinds experience
Juniper experience
