The role involves supervising and mentoring residents, participating in curriculum development, and engaging in scholarly activities within a supportive, academically enriched environment.

Supervise and mentor residents and medical students
Participate in curriculum development and academic leadership
Collaborate with UCF COM faculty and contribute to the academic mission
Engage in scholarly activities including research, publications, and presentations
Qualification
Required
Board certified in Internal Medicine
Strong commitment to outpatient care and resident education
Comfortable leading clinic-only attending days and delivering lectures in clinic settings
Demonstrates excellent communication, mentorship, and team collaboration skills
Willingness to engage in scholarly activities, committee service, and didactic presentations
Minimal call responsibilities
Role includes 0.2 FTE administrative time and 0.8 FTE clinical time
Preferred
Postgraduate clinical experience preferred
Prior teaching or chief resident experience is a plus
