Sr. Corporate Strategy Manager
The Pokémon Company International is a subsidiary of The Pokémon Company in Japan, responsible for brand management and marketing outside of Asia. They are seeking a Sr. Corporate Strategy Manager to support executives and cross-functional teams with strategic planning, project management, and research to ensure the operational execution of their strategic agenda.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to support executives in developing, refining, and tracking strategic roadmaps—spanning both mid- and long-term horizons
Drive day-to-day coordination of strategic projects, ensuring timely execution, stakeholder alignment, and accountability for deliverables
Design and manage the corporate scorecard to monitor the progress of strategic goals across the organization
Lead the preparation of monthly operational reports that synthesize progress across product pillars and business units for executive and leadership teams
Prepare presentations and materials for executive meetings to support informed decisions; coordinate follow-ups and track action items
Conduct rigorous research and strategic analyses to support planning decisions and evolving business needs
Build trusted partnerships across teams, connect insights across teams, and influence leaders without authority to ensure shared strategic alignment
Qualification
Required
12+ years of professional experience, including 8+ years in corporate strategy, strategic planning, management consulting, or a related field
3+ years of experience working within an operating company, with a proven ability to translate strategic plans into real-world execution
Demonstrated success in dynamic, cross-cultural, and fast-paced environments
Exceptional communicator—both written and verbal—with a strong ability to craft strategic narratives and develop engaging, human-centered presentations that drive alignment, influence stakeholders, and serve as effective tools for storytelling and change management
Exceptional at juggling multiple projects without losing focus, with a sharp eye for detail and follow-through
Adept at balancing logical thinking with practical considerations—grounding big ideas in real-world feasibility
Strong critical thinking and multi-perspective analysis—able to understand implications across business, people, and operational dimensions
Team-first mindset, grounded in humility and a strong sense of shared purpose; receptive to feedback, adaptable to shifting priorities, and able to stay focused and effective in the face of ambiguity and change
Fast learner, intellectually curious, and energized by new challenges
Bachelor's degree in a related field or a demonstrated equivalent level of expertise
Preferred
Fluency in Japanese is a strong plus, but not required
