Responsibilities

Operates MRI equipment to obtain filmed images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies, according to Radiologist's directions and established procedures

Positions patients administers injections of contrast media and manipulates images to ensure a high quality exam

Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects to job, being attentive of eye contact, facial/body expressions and tone of voice

Explains procedure to patient, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust

Qualification

ARRT-MR LicenseRadiology CertificationCPR CertificationMRI Technologist ExperienceCustomer Service SkillsInterpersonal SkillsCommunication Skills

Required

License: ARRT- MR

Education: Certification or Associate's degree in Radiology from an accredited program

Certification: CPR required

Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required

Preferred

Experience: Previous MRI Technologist experience preferred
