Senior Instrumentation Engineer
Relativity Space is building rockets to meet the growing demand for launch capacity and advance science and exploration. The Senior Instrumentation Engineer will be responsible for the full lifecycle of Terran R’s avionics, including designing, testing, and troubleshooting instrumentation systems, while collaborating closely with other engineering teams.

Responsibilities
Understanding of data acquisition techniques, sensor functionality, and data processing
Perform testing, checkout, and troubleshooting of instrumentation at the component and integrated level
Development and execution of test procedures, install instructions, checkout processes
Document instrumentation sensor calibrations and as-built configuration during manufacturing
Provide feedback to design engineering to improve products and data quality
Be part of a dynamic team, self-motivated, and take ownership of instrumentation installs
Qualification
Required
Understanding of data acquisition techniques, sensor functionality, and data processing

Bachelors degree in a relevant engineering field
5+ years of experience working with instrumentation or sensors in a development or test environment
Experience troubleshooting anomalies and leading failure investigations of complex systems
Preferred
Experience with Siemens NX and Teamcenter product life cycles
Experience with agile development and Jira
Experience supporting sensor installations in a final assembly manufacturing environment
