Bridge Design Project Engineer
Benesch is a growing, multi-disciplined planning, engineering, and professional services firm. They are seeking a Structural Project Engineer to prepare and review structural calculations for bridge design projects, lead structural designers, and develop plans and specifications.

Responsibilities
Prepare and review structural and geometrical calculations for bridge design projects
Lead structural designers and review their work on bridge design projects
Develop and review plans, specifications, cost estimates, and reports
Perform modeling and analysis
Review and sign off on basic design calculations, quantities, and plan elements
Model, analyze and/or design elements of a project and coordinate development with other elements and disciplines within the project
Work independently and develop task deliverables in a competent and reviewable manner
Qualification
Required
B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
PE License in Tennessee or ability to obtain through reciprocity
Minimum of 4 years of bridge design experience
Proficiency in Bentley CAD and structural design software
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Proven ability to deliver quality work within budget and schedule
Preferred
Experience working with TDOT and local municipalities
