Postdoctoral Fellow - Type 1 Diabetes Research

They are seeking a highly motivated individual for a Postdoctoral Fellowship in the laboratory of Dr. Alberto Pugliese, primarily focused on human type 1 diabetes research, including miRNA biomarkers and novel therapeutics.

Responsibilities
You must have experience with flow cytometry, molecular biology techniques, cell culture, microscopy, tissue processing, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, data analysis (gene expression data, flow cytometry data, etc)
Qualification
Required
PhD or M.D
Experience with flow cytometry
Experience with molecular biology techniques
Experience with cell culture
Experience with microscopy
Experience with tissue processing
Experience with immunohistochemistry
Experience with immunofluorescence
Experience with data analysis (gene expression data, flow cytometry data, etc)
Preferred
Pre-doctoral experience/training in type 1 diabetes research desirable but not an absolute requirement
Familiarity with computer software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, databases)
Basic statistical principles
