They are seeking a Project Manufacturing Engineer Lead to oversee advanced manufacturing projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives while enhancing efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end manufacturing engineering activities from concept to production, ensuring alignment with business objectives
Develop, optimize, and scale production processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness
Collaborate with design, quality, supply chain, and operations teams to transition products from concept to production
Implement lean manufacturing principles, automation, and Industry 4.0 technologies to drive efficiency
Act as the technical liaison between internal teams, suppliers, and customers to resolve manufacturing challenges
Support the development of work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training programs for production teams
Be responsible for capital equipment selection, commissioning, and maintenance to support advanced manufacturing processes

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field with equivalent experience accepted
7+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in advanced manufacturing, aerospace, robotics, or automotive industries
Experienced in process development, automation, and new product introduction (NPI)
Solid understanding of various manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, additive manufacturing, robotics, sheet metal fabrication, and digital manufacturing tools

Preferred

A Master's degree is a plus
Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) or PMP
Experience in AS9100, ISO 13485, or IATF 16949 environments
Knowledge of PLC programming, industrial automation, and IoT technologies
