Responsibilities

Represent clients in workers' compensation proceedings
Conduct legal research, analyze complex issues, and draft legal documents
Attend hearings and depositions
Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
Effectively manage time and follow Firm procedures
Collaborate with all levels both internal and external
Develop and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues

Qualification

Juris Doctor degreeCalifornia State Bar membershipWorkers' compensation defense experienceAnalytical skillsProblem-solving skillsClient-centered approachTech-savvyMulti-tasking skillsOrganizational skillsVerbal communicationWritten communication

Required

Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
Active membership in the California State Bar
Ability to identify and analyze complex legal issues and devise solutions
Proactive, client-centered, and tech-savvy
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Superior organizational, multi-task, and prioritization skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred

Workers' compensation defense experience highly preferred
