Responsibilities
Identify and develop business requirements from a data and analytics point of view in an agile execution model
Perform complex data analysis on structured and unstructured data formats; and define KPI or performance and analysis metrics
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data requirements
Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions
Investigate data, data sources and perform complex data quality analysis
Analyze data processes, identify end-to-end processes, research solutions and plans and coordinate the remediation of these deficiencies
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and technology staff, including off-shore personnel, to ensure that communication is open and ongoing
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field
Expert in performing advanced and complex data analysis
Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to effectively collaborate with multi-disciplinary groups and all organizational levels
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical audiences
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
High level organizational and project management skills in order to handle multiple concurrent assignments in a timely manner and to monitor processes throughout a team or department
Strong decision-making skills
Advance level proficiency with Microsoft Office includes Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, SQL, & Azure DevOps
Preferred
Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is a plus
