The PT Building Engineer at Desert Diamond Arena will assist in engineering calls, implement a preventative maintenance program, and ensure the facility is ready for events and properly maintained on non-event days.

Responsibilities

Complete pre-event checklist, turn on elevators and perform preventative checks to ensure everything in venue is turned on, working properly and ready for event
Perform facility operational tasks required in keeping up the facility on non-event days
Respond to event calls to performance routine maintenance on facility restrooms, lighting and other issues that arise and need to be addressed during an event
Ensure all equipment is maintained properly and arrangements for repair and/or replacement of used and damaged equipment is placed when necessary
Work closely with operations and other departments on projects as needed

Required

A minimum of 1-2 years of related work experience
Working knowledge of facility operations
Working knowledge of operations equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and equipment
Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays as event schedule requires
Ability to meet deadlines and function in a fast-paced setting
Ability to lift/push/pull or otherwise move 30 lbs. unassisted
Able to communicate effectively
Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task

Preferred

Forklift certification not required but strongly preferred
