Responsibilities
Utilize analytics, metrics, and benchmarking to evaluate trends and make recommendations for process improvements to, and the performance management of, outside counsel and TPA partners handling litigated BI cases
Coordinate and support ongoing litigation and respond to internal legal inquiries
Work closely with internal teams to strategize on ways to streamline processes and find solutions to enhance processes for litigation related tasks
Partner with internal customers to identify and preserve discovery items and evidence
Liaison between outside counsel, Risk/Legal Managers and internal stakeholders in gathering of documentation needed to respond to discovery requests
Support risk managers and internal and external stakeholders on discovery process
Perform other litigation management tasks
Some travel may be required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
3+ years of experience as a paralegal handling auto liability litigation including a strong understanding of the litigation process
Preferred
Be able to excel in a fast-paced collaborative environment
Good organizational skills
Ability to work independently, manage workload and multiple deadlines
Experience with project management
Excellent attention to detail
Exceptional interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills
