Responsibilities
Administers and scores psychological and neuropsychological tests
Maintains documentation related to patient testing; coordinates testing procedures
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Master's Degree in Psychology
1-3 years of experience in Neuropsychological and psychological assessment
Experience in Pediatric neuropsychological assessment
Certified Psychological Assistant in Tennessee - Tennessee Board of Examiners of Psychology
Demonstrated ability to interact with peers, medical staff, patients, families/caregivers and other constituents involved in patient care
Excellent skills in verbal and written communication, problem solving, and conflict resolution
Ability to deal with a variety of people with understanding and sensitivity to cultural and demographic differences
Physical activities may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion
Must have good balance and coordination
Ability to exert up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 25 lbs. of force frequently
Required to have close visual acuity including color, depth perception, and field of vision to perform activities such as assessing patients, preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; or extensive reading
Frequent invasive and non-invasive patient contact
Exposure to patient body fluids as well as exposure to hazardous or poisonous materials
Ability to react quickly to emergency situations
